The Mancorialist Exhibition in Proper Tea
May 31st, 2016
We are very pleased that the infamous Manchester photography blog - The Mancorialist – has decided to held its sixth exhibition in our cafe!
The Mancorialist was founded in 2012 as an answer to the popular New York fashion blog The Sartorialist, inspired by the same concept of defining the city not by its architecture but by its people. The Mancorialist captures the heart of the city by documenting its abundance of diverse characters. Since 2012, it has established a stunning portfolio, with more than 2,000 photos. Previously exhibited in the Northern Quarter venues Kosmonaut & Koffee Pot, The Mancorialist was also enlisted to document the 2015 Manchester International Festival. In 2016, besides guerrilla street exhibitions, The Mancorilist has began to focus on experimental studio work.
Proper Tea exhibition called “VI” compliments the idea of Britain with its dandy tradition of tea drinking and old-style fashion sense, which still surrounds us.
Come and admire The Mancorialist’s beautiful photos from Wednesday 1st June to Thursday 30th June 2016!
